Sri Shirdhi Sai Seva Sansthan Trust , Siddipet Greets You On Behalf Of All Sai Devotees.
A calm , serene and peaceful place, Siddipet(village of Siddi Purushas) is situated towards north, about 100 kms away, from Hyderabad-Capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Sai Seva has been the main force to bring together some of the enthusiastic Sai devotees and form a society in March 1992. Subsequently it was registered as SHIRDHI SAIBABA SEVA SANSTHAN TRUST Sai Vidya Nagar, Siddipet, in 1994 with 33 trustees. One of the important objectives of the trust is to build a place of worship for Beloved Sai in Siddipet.
The Konda family readily donated 1100 Sq yds and sri Gande Srinivas alone donated 400 Sq yds to this noble cause. With an initial contribution of Rs.70, 000/- from the residents of the colony and equally generous donations from Sai devotees of Siddipet town and Hyderabad, the task of building one of the finest temples for Shirdhi Sai Baba was initiated. As work progressed donations started pouring in from many sources-known as well as unknown.
It happens in such cases, that the enthusiasm of the sai devotees pushes up the cost of realizing this dream, well beyond its initial estimate of Rs. 20 lakhs.
Meditation hall, library, silver throne, golden crown to Baba, building accommodation for Sai devotees coming from outside Siddipet, regular poor feeding, providing medical assistance to needy etc. have enlarged the scope of the activities of Sri Shirdhi Sai Baba Seva Sansthan Trust.
The temple is enriched with paintings of events from Baba's life as mentioned in SatCharitra.
